Cards Maker: Magneto-Geometric Cards by Malcolm Rae with BG3 Geometry

Malcolm Rae (1913–1979) left the radionic tradition an elegant and rigorous system: the encoding of informational rates through geometry. Cards Maker carries this legacy forward and enriches it with the harmonising BG3 quality of Ibrahim Karim’s BioGeometry, creating cards that are at once radionic tools and biogeometric objects of quality.

In the British radionic tradition of the second half of the twentieth century, magneto-geometric cards represent one of the most original and refined contributions. The underlying idea is simple but profound: if a radionic rate is an informational signature, it can be encoded in geometric form, transforming it into a drawing capable of carrying that same quality into the energetic field.

Malcolm Rae was the pioneer of this vision. His cards — circles with precise geometric drawings traced according to specific angles — became a fundamental tool in British radionics and inspired generations of practitioners. Cards Maker was born as a digital application to create these cards, adding an element that Rae could not have foreseen but which integrates perfectly with his philosophy: the BG3 harmonising quality of BioGeometry.

Malcolm Rae was a British radionics researcher and practitioner active in the post-war period. His starting point was a very concrete question: how can a radionic rate be encoded in a way that is reproducible, verifiable and universally usable?

The answer Rae developed over the years was geometric. His system uses a circle as the encoding space: within this circle, lines are drawn at precise angles, and the configuration of the lines constitutes the “signature” of the rate. Each rate has its own unique geometry, its own identifying drawing.

Rae worked within the British radionic tradition, in dialogue with the work of George de la Warr and with researchers who had documented the relationship between forms, frequencies and subtle information. His vision was that geometry was not merely a symbolic encoding, but an active carrier of information: the shape of the drawing emits, through resonance, the quality it represents.

David Tansley, another important scholar of the British radionic tradition, documented and spread Rae’s system in his works on radionics and subtle bodies, helping to make magneto-geometric cards known to a wider audience.

“A precise geometry can contain and transmit radionic information with the same effectiveness as a numerical rate, with the added advantage of being visible, tangible and portable.”

Base 10 and base 44: two systems for encoding information

Rae’s system provides for two principal geometric organisations of cards: base 10 and base 44. Both use a circle as the working space, but differ in the number of angular positions available and therefore in the degree of informational detail they can express.

Base 10 divides the circle into ten equally spaced angular positions, with lines drawn at multiples of 36 degrees. This system offers a modular and accessible structure, ideal for encoding simple rates or qualities of a general order.

Base 44 uses forty-four angular positions, allowing a much finer and more detailed encoding. It is the system traditionally used to represent homoeopathic remedies, specific organic frequencies and complex energetic conditions. The greater density of angular positions allows very closely related qualities to be distinguished with precision.

In both systems, the card is inserted into the radionic instrument as an active witness: the drawing orients the work of the instrument toward the encoded quality. The choice between base 10 and base 44 depends on the nature of the rate to be represented and the level of detail required by the treatment.

Cards Maker: the application

Cards Maker is the application developed by Radionics for Life for the digital creation of magneto-geometric cards. It allows the generation of cards in base 10 and base 44 with a few steps, customising the geometric drawing and adding the Radionics for Life logo.

The application is designed both for the practitioner who uses digital radionics and for those who prefer to print cards and work with physical supports. Cards created with Cards Maker can be used directly with the other Radionics for Life application, the MGA-RAE Simulator, or printed and used physically like any traditional magneto-geometric card.

What distinguishes Cards Maker from a simple radionic geometry generator is the care with which the colours and proportions of the drawing have been designed. This is not a merely aesthetic choice: the colours and geometric structure follow principles inspired by Ibrahim Karim’s BioGeometry, with the aim of making each card a vehicle of BG3 quality.

BG3 geometry in the cards

The most original contribution of Cards Maker with respect to Rae’s tradition is the integration of Ibrahim Karim’s BioGeometry principles into the card design.

As described in the BioGeometry article on this site, the BG3 quality is the signature of harmony according to the biogeometric school: three subtle components — Horizontal Negative Green, Higher Harmonic of Ultraviolet and Higher Harmonic of Gold — which, when simultaneously present in a form, render it capable of introducing a harmonising order into the energetic field.

The colours of the geometric drawing and the very structure of the symbols in Cards Maker cards have been designed following these principles. The aim is that every card produced by the application should be not only the correct encoding of a radionic rate, but also an object that, through its own geometric and chromatic quality, emits BG3 into the surrounding field.

This means that Cards Maker cards carry a dual function: the informational one proper to Rae’s tradition, and the harmonising one of BioGeometry. The two qualities do not exclude each other, but mutually reinforce one another: the rate is encoded precisely, and the field in which the card is placed receives at the same time a specific information and a quality of centering.

Cards as autonomous tools

One of the most interesting aspects of Cards Maker cards is that they can be used alone, without the need for a radionic instrument.

According to BioGeometry principles, a form that emits BG3 acts through resonance simply by its own presence. It does not need an electronic circuit, an amplifier or technical support: the geometry speaks directly to the energetic field with which it comes into contact.

In practical work, a Cards Maker card can be:

  • Placed under a glass of water to informationally structure its contents
  • Kept near the body during meditation or rest
  • Placed in an environment to contribute to the quality of the field
  • Used as a visual focus for visualisation and intention
  • Combined with other cards to build a multiple treatment
  • Carried on the person as a discreet support during daily activities

In all cases, it is always advisable to verify the compatibility of the card with the person through radiesthesia, to ensure that the quality expressed by the card is suitable for the subject and the moment.

The physical instrument: Malcolm Rae’s MGA-RAE

To understand the Cards Maker system in its full context, it is useful to know the physical instrument that Malcolm Rae designed: the MGA-RAE. This is a physical radionic instrument equipped with specific supports for inserting magneto-geometric cards. The card, placed in its housing, orients the radionic treatment of the instrument toward the quality encoded in its drawing.

The MGA-RAE remains to this day an instrument appreciated by many practitioners, but not always accessible. The Radionics for Life digital simulator was born precisely to make this approach available in virtual form.

MGA-RAE Simulator: the virtual radionic instrument

The ideal use of Cards Maker cards is in combination with the MGA-RAE Simulator, the Radionics for Life virtual radionic instrument inspired by Malcolm Rae’s MGA-RAE.

The simulator reproduces in a digital environment the logic of the original instrument: cards created with Cards Maker can be loaded into the simulator, which allows radionic transmissions to be carried out with intention, witness and combined rates. The workflow is the same as in Rae’s traditional method: create the card, insert it into the simulator, define the subject and intention, and start the treatment.

The integration between Cards Maker and MGA-RAE Simulator creates a complete digital radionic system: the creation and customisation of cards takes place with Cards Maker; the transmission of the radionic treatment takes place with the simulator. The two tools are complementary and designed to work together, digitally replicating Malcolm Rae’s original approach.

Conclusion: geometry, information and harmony

Malcolm Rae left us a far-sighted vision: geometry is not merely a symbol, it is an active carrier of information. Every circle, every line drawn at the right angle, becomes a signature in the subtle field.

Cards Maker takes up this legacy and carries it a step further, uniting the precision of Rae’s system with Ibrahim Karim’s research on the BG3 harmonising quality. The result is a tool that speaks two languages: that of radionics, with its rates and informational logic; and that of BioGeometry, with its attention to the quality that every form emits into the environment.

A well-constructed card is not merely a code. It is a bridge between the practitioner’s intention, the information to be transmitted and the field of the recipient. And when that card also carries the BG3 quality, it becomes at once message and harmony.
